June 19, 2009

The RCFF Pipes and Drums, are heading up to Lake George NY for the Hudson Valley Firefighters Parade. The Parade starts at 12:00 PM...line up at 11:00 AM, on Saturday June 20th. We will be escorting the Pearl River Fire Department in the 4th Division. Everyone have a safe trip up!!!

Firefighter Graduation

June 09, 2009

On Tuesday June 9th 2009, the RCFF Pipes and Drums performed at the Firefighter Graduation, held at the Rockland County Fire Training Center. Once again the Band performed well and congrats to all the graduates. Ohhh and Bob Griffin made the paper again, Bob is becoming the face of the RCFF Pipe and Drums and what a face it is. The band finished the nite at D and D's in New City, where bass Drummer Brandon Smith woohed us with his singing skills.

Hillcrest Memorial Dedication

On Sunday June 7th, the RCFF Pipes and Drums were honored to perform for the Hillcrest Fire Departments Firefighter Memorial Dedication, held at the MT. Ivy Firehouse. The Monument and statue are breath taking and very impressive. The Hillcrest Fire Department should be proud to have such a magnificent Monument honoring the sacrafice of their fallen members.

All Faiths Ceremony

On Sunday June 7th 2009, the RCFF Pipes and Drums had a busy day, performing at both the Hillcrest Fire Departments Memorial dedication and at the Rockland County Firefighters Training Center for the All Faiths Ceremony. The RCFF Pipes and Drums were honored to provide our services to the Counties Fire Departments at this ceremony. And Piper Bob Griffin made the Journal News. Job Well done.
