Procession for USMC Sgt Hrbek
January 21, 2010
On January 14th 2010, Westwood NJ native, Volunteer Firefighter and United States Marine Sgt Christopher Hrbek, was killed in the line of duty while serving in Afghanistan. His remains returned to NJ and at the request of his family, a heros welcome was planned. The combined massed Pipe and Drum Bands comprised of Bergen County Police, Bergen County Firefighters, Middlesex County, Rockland County Emeralds and The Rockland County Firefighters, led the procession as Sgt Hrbek was brought to the funeral home. It was a true hero's welcome, as the residents of Westwood NJ and Fire and Police Departsments from both NY and NJ lined the streets. It was an honor and a priveledge for the RCFF Pipes and Drums, to be included in this event. Rest In Peace Sgt Hrbek and thank you for your service.. God Bless America!!

Halfway To St Patricks Day Wing Nite
September 26, 2009
The RCFF Pipes & Drums would like to thank everyone who came out to support the Band. The turn out was great and we hope everyone had a good time. The wings were great, the beer was cold and the Live Band and the Pipe Band sounded wonderful. We would especially like to thank the Hillcrest Fire Department for providing us with the venue for the event as well as the members of Hillcrest FD, who helped us set up and cook all those wings, a job well done. We would also like to thank the band "Second Nature" for once again providing us with such great music. Thank You all again for helping to support the RCFF Pipes And Drums and making this nite a very special event.
